Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny on February 3, 1950) is an American actress. The actress gained fame in the 70s, and early 80s through her roles on a variety of television shows, where she was portrayed as a glamourous actress. Fairchild began her acting career from 1973-1977 on CBS' Search for Tomorrow show, a daytime soap that starred Jennifer Pace. She played Jenna Wade in 1978, the first time an actress had done this. In 1980 she took the lead in Flamingo Road (NBC), in which she was awarded a Golden Globe Award nomination for the best Actress for the Television Series Drama. In 1984, she was a co-star on ABC's premiertime soap Paper Dolls. From 1985 to 1986, Fairchild played attorney Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild has also performed in theater and played guest roles in a variety of television shows, including Murphy Brown (for which she was nominated for an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in an Comedy Series) Roseanne Cybill and Friends. Lawson was birthed at Louisville Kentucky as the daughter of a hotelier as well as a domestic worker, became obsessed with acting at a young age. In the community theater, Lawson began acting when she was eight. She graduated from an Catholic all-girls high school. Maggie Lawson first began performing on stage when she was just eight years old. Following her move from Los Angeles at the age 15 years old, Maggie Lawson began her career in theatre. At the age of 15, she moved to Los Angeles for her first television pilot.
