 Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7 1998) popularly referred to as MrBeast in the US is an American YouTube celebrity. In addition, he is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. [6] His YouTube videos are famous for featuring expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson posted videos to YouTube when he was 13 using the pseudonym "MrBeast6000". His initial content was a mix of videos and Let's Plays in which he estimated the wealth of other YouTubers. In 2017, he became a viral sensation following his "counting up to 100,000" video racked up tens of thousands of views in just a couple of days, and he has been getting more and more popular ever since, with the majority of his videos receiving hundreds of millions of views.Over time, his style of content expanded to include donation and challenge videos that reward thousands of dollars, videos involving tough challenges or tasks as well as original videos. Donaldson brought in a few childhood friends to help him manage the expanding brand once it was created. MrBeast was the primary YouTube channel for Donaldson which had 60 members.
